Buyer's Agents are Not Free
You guys! Having a buyer's agent (a real estate agent who represents the buyer exclusively) is an invaluable asset to a buyer. But make no mistake: the agent is NOT free.If your perspective agent says this to you, just walk away. If the agent you're talking to doesn't understand a simple idea of where money originates from, they might not be the person you want representing you.
Think about it this way: If I purchase a property from someone, who brings money to the closing table?
Does the seller bring money? Probably not.
Do I bring money? You betcha!
